“For years, I had dreamed of living in a warm country. In 2022, the perfect opportunity arose when I was offered a job as a hotel manager in Bonaire. The prospect of developing an eco-resort was irresistible, but my wife had other plans. She showed me several beautiful detached homes in the Valencia region. ‘For a reasonable amount, you can buy a large piece of land with a spacious house and start your own center,’ she convinced me. After selling our house in the Netherlands at a profit, we began our targeted search for houses in Spain. Within a month, we had found our dream place in Montroy, just half an hour’s drive from Valencia.

Since our move, we have been living in a beautiful wooden chalet and enjoying our land of 6,500 m², complete with a swimming pool, a water well, and a separate guest house.
